Nice area to stroll around.

A historical district in the centre of Suzhou city. Commercial development around but almost old street views survived. A place worth spending an hour or two if you don’t have enough time to visit more remote towns.

Though quite busy and "touristy" a must see. Very nice at sunset

Many small interesting shops but the smell of stinky tofu can be overwhelming for some. Easy to get to with metro.
