At RMB 80 a ticket,I thought the place was a bit disappointing. Not too much to see, besides a few Instagram opportunities

For an 80 yuan entry fee, this museum didn’t overly excite me. The natural history museum is only a few blocks away and much more enlightening. The collection is extremely compact and spread across 3 small floors. Most guests were here to take new age profile pictures in front of some of the pieces

It’s a completely purpose if Museum than others, many pieces are very interesting, but overall, I also agree that the entrance fee is somewhat high in comparison with other places. Yet, I still think it’s worth it.

Beautiful collection, clean and friendly staff. All signs are translated into English, but not all the scrolls.

Loved the sculpture section on the ground floor, the ceramics was pretty good. I didn’t really get into the ethnic section and beyond learning that China had weird spade shaped coins the rest I could have missed and not noticed. Pick your visiting time carefully, the tour guide said that the queues the previous day were over an hour long, on my day no queue delay at all.

Pricy small exhibition for me, I might not be a anime art type. So I’d better roam out side the park

Exhibit is small but very interesting and presentation is good. The surrounding park is really nice and quiet also.
