平潭雕塑园位于平潭竹屿湖公园南岸，占地6公顷，四周环境优美，设有亲水栈道，树木花卉 茂盛，新安装的雕塑作品呈带状分布，与湖面、生态园林融合成新的景观，构成一幅湖、园、景、石等相映成 趣的画面。雕塑园为美丽的平潭岛增添了一份人文景观，呈现兿术的美与自然的美和谐共存，既美化了平潭的生活空间，也为游客打造一个不一样的城市记忆。2014年10月10日，以“和谐、发展、梦想”为主题的首届平潭国际城市雕塑展在雕塑园开幕，来自19个国家和地区的48件雕塑作品亮相，并永久落户平潭雕塑园。
