ginormous railway station! there are TWO separate stations at this same location the north and the south square; it looks as though construction is ongoing to eventually connect the two. the north is where the bullet trains are stationed. ticket office for purchase and refunds are at the same location but with a separate building and entry. the staff are SUPER helpful but with limited english so have your translator app handy and ready. the second floor of the north square also has restaurants and was extremely calmer and less chaotic than the restaurants on the ground floor. there are incredibly plenty of seats! also, as in other stations in china, you will clear identification and security check before entry; allot time for this.

Handy high speed the North entrance is a little difficult to navigate to and from. If entering via high speed to the North go down stairs and use transport hub subway line 10 to get into the city. When travelling south square to high speed use a cheap cab or similar it's a good 20min walk along the road

Hugh station, no plane from Chongqing to Chengdu. Have to take train. Much area to move around and rest though crowded most of the time.
