Super close to the Muslim Quarter and is great to see at night and during the day. The architecture is amazing and the bronze bells are worth seeing as well. You can see it as you walk through the Quarter and it's definitely worth stopping in and looking around. Note: Visited prior to COVID, so things may be different.

The Bell Tower of Xi'an has outlived its purpose of telling time at dawn. This majestic structure is now the centrepiece of a very busy intersection and a tourist attraction. Surrounded by this ancient capital city's main thoroughfares and colourful flower beds. View from a distance at night, it's even more breath-taking
One of excellent point in central Xian I have visited this place in 2019 and really love it the price of tickets was really great they also give 50% discount for students. i will suggest you to visit this place from 11am to 1pm if you wanted to see traditional drum performance.
It is a wonderful place and good tourist destination in Xian. The bell tower has four entrances to the bus and subway. Bell tower very close to the Drum Tower and the Muslim quarter. If anyone wants to visit Xi'an China then the bell tower and surrounding area is worth your time… all facilities are available…... Night view is fantastic
If you are in town for awhile anyway, you may as well stop and see the Bell Tower. I know some say there is no need to go up in it, but there is some interesting history that you can learn from the pictures and writings inside (the view from the tower is nothing special). It is not free, but not expensive, and the entry is from under the street opposite the Bell Tower Hotel and near Starbucks.
A tourist hot spot. Get to see how it all begun, what has happened and restoration and relocation. You may opt for tour guide but anyone could just go by themselves. Enter from any four of Xian metro inlet to get to the underground entrance and ticket booth. Once underground, look the floor mapping to get your bearing and next heading. You can't get lost but do take your time to understand the map. Next, visit the drum tower which is just less than 500m, can be seen from the of balcony of bell tower. Have fun and enrich your history information.
Interesting to see with god views north, south and east towards the city gates, along some very straight roads. Best to buy a joint ticket for it and the nearby Drum tower/ Only one entrance in from the underpass and as is usual in China have to get past security. Do not attempt to cross the multi-lane roads going round it to get there. Excellently maintained flower gardens surround it.
A good tourist destination in Xi'an and it is made special by the exquisite cuisine street just along side it. This tower can be accessed from any of the nearest buses or subway and has four different entrances. I would not recommend buying a ticket for going on the top though. There isn't anything special up there. The street food along side is just fantastic! You should try different snacks, pomegranate juice (one of the Xi'an special), the process of making the sugar. P.S: The beauty of this tower comes out at night! Do visit it at night and you will be amazed.
